Electrician for Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Manatee homes. Repairs, lighting, fans, panels and emergencies.
If a breaker won't stay on, an outlet went dead, the lights flicker, or you want a new fixture or ceiling fan put up, this is the page. Air & Energy's electricians handle hundreds of electrical jobs a year in homes across Bradenton, Palmetto, Ellenton, Parrish, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key and all of Lakewood Ranch.
We're a Florida Certified Electrical Contractor, license EC13011350, and everyone we send is an Air & Energy employee.
Call (941) 778-0773, or schedule an electrician online.

Our trucks are stocked, so most repairs are finished the same day we're there. Some need a part ordered or a second visit, and we'll tell you if yours does.
A dim kitchen, a dark entry, a lanai fan that's rattled for years: we install and replace light fixtures and ceiling fans, indoors and out. Many of our customers have already picked out the fixture or fan, and that's fine; we install it. Tell us where you want better light and how you use the room, or, if an existing light or switch is acting up, describe what changed.
Some electrical problems start at the panel. We replace panels, meter cans and grounding systems, and we install whole-home surge protectors. See electrical panel upgrades for the signs a panel is worth replacing, and whole-home surge protection for what a surge protector at the panel covers.

When something new needs its own power, we run the circuit:
Whether a new circuit fits in your existing panel is one of the first things we check.
Some electrical problems can't wait until Monday. We offer emergency service on nights and weekends. Outside office hours your call goes to our automated on-call line, and our own on-call technicians respond through it.
Call now, don't wait, if you see or smell any of these:
If there's smoke or fire, get out and call 911 first.
Call (941) 778-0773 and describe what's happening.
Some repairs are priced as a flat rate for the job. Others are billed by time and materials. We often prefer time and materials, because you pay for exactly what we used and did, not a flat price padded to cover the worst case. Larger work, such as a panel change, a new circuit or a lighting project, is quoted in writing before we start, and those estimates are free.
If you'd rather spread out the cost of a bigger project, see our financing options. VIP members get 10% off all repairs and no overtime fees; see VIP.
Every permit Florida requires is pulled, inspected and closed by us, never by you. Our workmanship is guaranteed for one year on everything we do. That's part of the Simply Better Promise.
If what you really want is for the lights, the AC and the fridge to keep running through a storm outage, that's a whole-home standby generator. It's a job for an electrician and a gas contractor, and we're both. See generator installation.
Do you have an emergency electrician near me?
We offer emergency service on nights and weekends across Bradenton and Manatee County and all of Lakewood Ranch. Call (941) 778-0773. Outside office hours your call goes to our automated on-call line, and our own technicians respond.
Can you come today?
Often, yes. Call and tell us what's going on. Our trucks are stocked, so most repairs are finished the same day we're there.
An outlet stopped working. What should I check first?
Look for a GFCI outlet (the one with test and reset buttons) in the kitchen, bathrooms, garage or outside, and press reset. One GFCI often protects several outlets. Then check the panel for a tripped breaker. If that doesn't fix it, or the outlet is warm, scorched or sparking, stop and call us.
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Usually it's too much on one circuit, a failing appliance, or a wiring fault. Resetting it over and over doesn't fix the cause. We find which one it is.
Will you install a light fixture or ceiling fan I bought myself?
Yes. A lot of our lighting and fan jobs are fixtures the homeowner picked out.
Do you install EV chargers?
Yes. We run the dedicated circuit from your panel and install the charger, usually one you've already bought. We check your panel's capacity first.
How much does an electrician cost?
It depends on the repair. Some are a flat rate for the job and others are billed by time and materials. Larger projects are quoted in writing first, and those estimates are free.
Do you pull permits?
Yes, whenever Florida requires one. We pull it, get it inspected and close it. You never have to.
Do you serve Lakewood Ranch?
All of Lakewood Ranch, including the Sarasota County side, plus Bradenton, Palmetto, Ellenton, Parrish and the rest of Manatee County.
Call and describe what you're seeing: what stopped working, what changed, what you smell or hear. For planned work, like a new fixture, a fan or a circuit, you can schedule online.
Panel upgrades, insurance-flagged panels, surge protection, code compliance — the things that separate a safe install from a costly one.
