Air Conditioning Installation and Sales
In Florida, an air conditioner is a major investment, and the quality of installation will make a big difference on your utility bills for many years to come. That’s why it’s so important to start on the right foot. We begin every AC installation project with a full load calculation to determine your home’s cooling needs, and we’ll help you choose the right Trane air conditioner to meet those needs.
We’re proud to be a Trane Comfort Specialist, which means we’ve been handpicked by the manufacturer to install their products in homes in our area. We take great pride in our work and always strive to deliver a terrific customer experience, which means you’ll benefit from efficient and effective cooling
What to Expect
We have a team of dedicated Comfort Specialists that will take time at your home to help you choose your new system. During their visit, they will walk through choosing many aspects of your new system depending on your home’s specific system design.
Choosing Your New System
Step 1- Efficiency
Perhaps the most important factor of your new system is how energy efficient it is. Systems are rated by SEER… think of it like MPG for a car. The minimum SEER rating available is 14 and we sell systems that go all the way to 22+ SEER. The higher the SEER, the less energy is use to cool your home.
Step 2- Outdoor Unit
Your AC system has both an indoor unit and outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is called the condenser and because of the harsh environment in Florida, it’s important to be extremely well constructed. Luckily, all Trane’s units have a powder coat paint, zinc-coated screws, galvanized steel panels and DuraTuff rustproof base pan. All these features allow your new system to operate flawlessly well into the future.
Step 3- Indoor Unit
The air handler is the part of the system that moves the conditioned air throughout your home. The main feature difference between air handlers are the cabinet construction and blower speeds. Trane’s exclusive Hyperion composite air handler has double wall construction similar to a refrigerator and can’t rust! It’s by far the best air handler on the market for Florida… and is perfect for attic or garage installations. For choosing blower speeds, you can choose either single speed or variable speed. Variable speed motors better control airspeed over the coil to better cool & de-humidify your home. Whenever possible, we always recommend variable speed blowers.
Day of Installation
On the day of installation you will be greeted by a couple of our highly trained technicians who will take the time to again walk you through the process of the installation. Most of the time, the process of replacing your system will take an entire day so please plan accordingly. Our techs will work to keep a tidy job site during the day so you don’t have anything to worry about other than enjoying your new system at the end of the day!
