Air & Energy | Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical – Simply Better

Air & Energy | March Newsletter 🍀

Mar 31, 2022 | Blog

This March we celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and even the retirement of a long-loved employee! We’ve also jumped right into our 2022 giving plan, contributing to local organizations that make our community even more wonderful than it is already. And, because we take spring cleaning seriously, our office and warehouse now have brand new roofs!

Any way you slice it, we have a lot to talk about this month!

Thank You for 19 Years, Steve!

For the past 19 years, Steve has been putting his expertise to work helping our customers with their A/C needs. In his time with us, he’s shared that expertise with HVAC students from MTC so the next generation of technicians can be just as wonderful as Steve.

Happy retirement, Steve. You’ve earned it!

We celebrated the occasion in classic Air & Energy fashion with plenty of laughs and a few tears too.

Air & Energy’s new roof is shining bright!

We take spring cleaning seriously, so we cleaned up our building’s look and had a brand new roof installed! Our new steel roof features skylights in the warehouse and shines bright from all angles. Our hope is that by improving our building, we’re doing one more small part in making our town look a little nicer.

Supporting Girls in our Community

Pace Center for Girls holds a place near to our hearts. We are beyond proud to have been the presenting sponsor of the Believing in Girls luncheon this month. It was a pleasure to meet the girls and hear their stories.
Keep up the great work, ladies!

We Love Wildlife, Inc!

Did a little birdie tell you? We’re animal lovers here at Air & Energy! We’re happy to donate to Wildlife, Inc. as part of our 2022 giving plan, and we support their mission of educating the public & treating the 3,000 to 4,000 animals that come through their program each year!

InStride & Easterseals

We’re proud to be a Black Tie & Blue Jeans sponsor – And we’re grateful for everything Easterseals Southwest Florida does for children and adults living with disabilities or special needs in our community! This event supports “equine-assisted programs, providing children and adults with essential occupational, physical, speech and autism therapies and mental health programs.” How awesome is that?

We’re not stopping there. We support dozens of non-profits and organizations in Manatee County! If you can’t wait until the next newsletter to find out what else we’re doing, you can always follow us on Facebook.

Your Feedback

“Casey has been here before. He is professional, pleasant and polite. We were happy to see it was him assigned to our AC maintenance. Always on time. Performed our maintenance and discovered what would have become a problem had he not seen it.” – Dawn on Google

“Jimmy and Fernando arrived on the time, they were very patient in figuring out the source of our issue. They installed a subpanel that was in bad need of replacement. Very responsive, thorough, and provided excellent customer service.”
– Steve on Google

“Ricky checked out a few issues with our plumbing and drainage, diagnosed the problems and quickly repaired them. Very professional and neat.” – William on Google

We’d love to hear from you on Google. It really makes our day!

Will a Frozen A/C Fix Itself?

It’s easy to joke that an air conditioning unit able to encase itself in ice during a Florida summer should have no problem keeping things cold. Unfortunately, being stuck in the sweltering heat and humidity even for a day is no laughing matter. We’ll go over how to tell if your A/C is frozen and what to do if it freezes.

Reasons HVAC Systems Lose Efficiency

Outdoor heat is not the only thing that can cause your air conditioning to lose efficiency. Here we’ll go over other reasons HVAC systems lose efficiency and may be costing more in utility bills than it should be.

Ductless Mini-Split A/C vs. Central Air Conditioning

Ductless Mini-Split A/C systems are all the rage right now, and we can see why. They’re energy efficient, they allow for customized temperatures in different rooms of your house, they don’t require ductwork, and they’re very, very quiet. Sounds great, right? But mini-splits aren’t right for everyone and they’re certainly not one-size-fits-all. We’ll dive into where, when, and why you should get a mini-split vs. a traditional air conditioning system.
